Siobhan Colleen:
In 10 short years, Siobhan quickly trajected from stagehand to rigger and rescue instructor to national assistant director of safety and training. Her certifications include ETCP Arena Rigger, SPRAT Level 1 rope access technician, and Mental Health First Aid among others. Siobhan actively participates as a volunteer for the Event Safety Alliance and as a voting member of the ESTA TSP Rigging Working Group.
Joe Golden:
With 40 years in technical theater, corporate meetings, concerts, and special events, Joe combines his passion for production with a commitment to safety and mentoring. A contributor to the first edition of The Event Safety Guide in 2012, Joe expanded his expertise beyond rigging and electrical safety to include OSHA regulations and the distinctions between General Industry and Construction. This knowledge enables him to develop best practices that address technical challenges and inefficiencies. Joe actively contributes to ESTA's Technical Standards Program, which produces ANSI Standards for event and production safety. He also continues to work as a Designer, Production Rigger, and Technical Director, tackling a variety of roles in the industry.
