Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity, equity, and inclusion have become buzzwords in recent years as organizations strive to become more diverse. However, many are uncertain about the concrete steps needed to turn this dialogue and intention into action. In today's society, where social justice and equality are at the forefront of discussions, it has never been more crucial for organizations to succeed in their efforts to strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This open forum panel is dedicated to providing all with the necessary information and tools to make meaningful changes within their organizations. It recognizes that diversity goes beyond just race and gender, encompassing various aspects of an individual's identity. By bringing together a diverse group of individuals, organizations can tap into new perspectives, experiences, and ideas, leading to innovation and a broader mindset. This panel offers a foundational understanding of the issues at hand, including defining diversity, making the case for why it matters, and introducing resources available in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion focus area. Hosted by Canadce Newman, founder of Live Out Live (501c3), an organization dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion. This discussion aims to equip attendees with the necessary knowledge and tools to create a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment within their organizations.
